Territory Sales Representative - Building Enclosure Systems - Total Compensation to 200k+/year - Jacksonville, FL
- Our client is a fast-growing provider of engineered insulation and building enclosure systems. Their flagship product is a thermal Composite Metal Hybrid sub framing system that increases energy efficiency for the construction industry. They pride themselves on their innovative solutions and educational-based selling.
- The Territory Sales Representative is a crucial player in their Florida and Georgia territories, and will be responsible for traveling throughout Dallas / Ft Worth and the surrounding region in order to educate customers and fulfill high value orders. The Territory Sales Representative will have a solid network established with commercial installers, as they will be selling to Architects, GCs, Specification Writers, and other commercial building professionals. Experience with extensive experience in the building envelope industry (cladding, cladding attachments), or experience in commercial roofing or waterproofing product manufacturers is critical to success in this position. Candidates can reside in either Florida or Georgia for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales quotas provided by the organization.
- Travel throughout Georgia and Florida, and present to customers and potential customers’ influencers providing them with information and support as required to secure business
- Evaluate area performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to improve performance
- Provide multiple in-person and virtual Power Point presentations weekly (training will be provided)
- Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives
- Owns sales process from project design to project completion
- Ability to travel throughout territory including overnight travel to support customer needs
- Provide accurate forecast of sales on a timely basis
- Assist in establishing sales objectives for area
- Assist in developing an area coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals
- Provide timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in business and product planning
- Maintain sales activity daily in CRM system, HubSpot
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field
- 10+ years of experience in the building envelope industry (cladding, cladding attachments). Experience at a commercial roofing or waterproofing product manufacturer may also be applicable
- Must have experience reading construction drawings and specifications
- Has a solid network established with commercial installers
- Experience interacting with and influencing Architects and Engineers
Compensation:
- Total compensation for this position includes a base salary in the 100 - 120k/year range, plus high commission potential (4% of sales) putting estimated 1st year OTE in the $200k+/year range
