Contract Speaker Event Manager (PT)

Job Overview:
The Speaker Event Manager will oversee all aspects of managing speakers for our user conferences. This role will be responsible for recruiting, scheduling, preparing, and supporting speakers, ensuring a smooth and impactful experience for both the speakers and the audience. You will work closely with internal teams (event planning, marketing, and sales) as well as external stakeholders to curate a lineup that aligns with the conference's goals and attendee expectations. Conferences are both in the US and Europe.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for creating memorable and high-impact experiences for attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Speaker Recruitment & Selection:
  Identify and recruit top-tier industry professionals, thought leaders, and customer success stories to speak at the event. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure speaker alignment with the conference themes and objectives.
• Speaker Communication & Coordination:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for all speakers, managing logistics, contracts, and ensuring they are well-prepared. Coordinate schedules, travel, accommodation, and provide detailed event briefs.
• Speaker Support Onsite:
  Provide onsite support to speakers, ensuring they have the resources needed (technical, AV, logistics) to deliver their presentations smoothly.
• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure seamless integration of speaker presentations within the broader event schedule. Collaborate with marketing to promote speakers and their sessions.
• Post-Event Engagement:
  Collect feedback from speakers and attendees to assess session effectiveness and impact. Develop post-event reports and metrics related to speaker performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in speaker or event management, ideally within tech or B2B sectors.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple speakers and schedules concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with senior executives, thought leaders, or subject matter experts.
• Proficiency with event management software and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats.
• Familiarity with technical content and the ability to engage with highly technical speakers.
• Knowledge of contract management for speakers, including negotiation of fees and terms.
