Our flagship property, Hilton McLean Tysons Corner ( , is searching for a Banquet Server to join their team!

This well known, high profile property is located directly adjacent to Hilton's headquarters in the bustling area of Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia. The beautiful 458 room property, boasts over 27,000 square feet of elegant meeting space and two food andbeverage outlets. Reliable transportation is a must as shifts will often end after Metro & Bus closures.

The ideal candidate is a passionate professional with previous Banquets/events serving experience, a background in high-end service, and expertise in elevated service standards. Must know how to set up/break down a coffee station independently.

Shift Pattern: AM and PM shifts, as early as 4.30AM and ending as late as 12AM-1AM, weekends and holidays is required.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Server, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments
• Ensure menu knowledge
• Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
