Midsouth Steel, the leader in structural steel erection and fabrication in the Southeast has an exciting opportunity to help develop and grow operations in Central Florida.

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent who is interested in developing business and growing the operations in the developing Florida territory.

This is a full-time direct hire position with unlimited growth potential for a company with an unrivaled track record of growth and success in new territories.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in two key areas, business development and construction operations management.

On the business development side, the candidate will be expected to:

• Cover the Florida territory meeting and discussing opportunities with decision makers who can utilize Midsouth's products and expertise.
• Service existing Florida accounts, with an eye on not only maintaining the high current level of service, but also expanding future business.
• Immerse themselves in the developments of new business that can potentially partner with Midsouth Steel.

On the Management side the ideal candidate will be expected to:

• Develop a team of sub-contractors who have structural steel expertise.
• Learn Midsouth's processes and capabilities and create that environment in the Florida operation.
• Be a leader and point person for the successful and timely completion of all ongoing and future projects.
• Develop strong lines of communication with Midsouth's headquarters in Atlanta.

This is a position for someone who is not only skilled in construction operations but who has the entrepreneurial spirit and temperament to develop and grow the business.
