Job Description

This opportunity is Temporary, however, there is the possibility of a permanent conversion for the right person. The Applied Companies has a Bookkeeper position available for immediate start. Our client is located in Mid Town Reno and looking for someone with web based QuickBooks experience and advanced Excel knowledge.

Other requirements include:

• Able to manage the day-to-day finances including tracking transactions and assisting with payroll, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and work independently and as part of a team
• Data entry ability, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance
• Able to forecast cash flows and manage grants, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and software
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Monday-Friday

9am - 5pm
