ANIMATION TECHNICAL DESIGN INTERN What You'll Do We're looking for a Technical Designer in Animation intern to join the Unreal Gameplay and Runtime Animation team. As part of the team you will support engineers and animators with the creation of animation structures, features, tooling and design feedback within Unreal. On top of this you may also help support internal projects such as Fortnite and Disney.
In this role, you will - Support engineering animation setup needs
- Support testing and design feedback of animation tools
- Create animation logical structures in Unreal
- Support internal project technical animation support requests
What we're looking for - Experience with Animation Blueprints, Montages, State Machines, etc.
- Knowledge and experience using animation centric tooling in Unreal
- Ability to work with and communicate within a team
- Knowledge of or experience with creating animations
- Knowledge of or experience with game design
- Bonus for knowledge of or experience working with engineers, finding workarounds, and iterating on long-term solutions
This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
